Old ¾ violin, labeled Bernardel luthier eleve de Lupot rue Croix des Petits Champs 21 a Paris 1855 Bernardel.
Old french 3/4 violin, with a beautiful two pieces softly flamed maple back, matching ribs and scroll is being auctioned off to the highest bidder! The top is a straight and finely grained spruce. Purfling is masterfully laid out on the edges of the violin. The whole length of the violin is 558 mm and the back 336 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 152 mm; middle bouts: 102 mm; lower bouts: 191 mm. 3/4 size. The label reads: Bernardel luthier eleve de Lupot rue Croix des Petits Champs 21 a Paris 1855 Bernardel.
