An antique full size master violin.
The label says: Dominicus Montagnana sub sigurfuni Cremonae Venetiis 1736. Very beautiful in appearance. Very nice two pieces softly flamed maple back with matched sides and scroll, straight high grained spruce top. Golden-brown-reddish varnish.
Length of back is 358 mm, whole length is 593 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 167 mm; middle bouts: 114 mm; lower bouts: 207 mm.
