A very fine old 4/4 violin, labeled Joannes Franciscus Pressenda q Raphael fecit Taurini anno Domini 1843. The whole length of the violin is 593 mm and the back 361 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 168 mm; middle bouts: 114 mm; lower bouts: 208 mm.
Materials: very nice two pieces narrow flamed maple back and straight high grained spruce top. Brown-reddish varnish with tears and wears. Golden ground.
