A nice antique 4/4 italian violin for professional musician or collector. The label says: Pietro Antonio figlio di Carlo Ferdinando Landolfi in Milano al Segno della Serena l’ Anno 1785. This is a superb sounding instrument, also very beautiful in appearance. The strongly flamed one piece maple back measures 360 mm. The total length of the violin is 590 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 171 mm; middle bouts: 117 mm; lower bouts: 211 mm. High grained spruce top, golden brown reddish varnish.
